We envision a South Africa where financial stability is accessible to all, where communities are resilient, and small businesses are the backbone of local economies.

Our mission is to create a world where every community thrives economically, and every small business has the opportunity to succeed.

About us

Our Journey of Empowering Youth

It is important for both the public and private sector to think about the future of the youth especially here in SA where unemployment levels have escalated to unthinkable heights  resulting in an increased use of drugs among the young people.

Youths are an important puzzle of a society that can not be ignored. When they shout they shout the loudest while on the other hand when they are quite their absence is felt. The energy and potential that they have is dangerous if left idle – as the saying goes “ an idle mind is the devil’s playground.”A youth channeled to the right direction with sufficient support can unlock great potential within themselves.

Education for growth

Supporting Small Businesses

Oikos foundation’s major is to help channel the youths into the right direction of life by assisting them with getting education, it can be college education, artisan training and development workshops. In other words Oikos Foundation is standing in the gap and covers the shortfall that young people meet as they endeavour to upgrade themselves. The assistance comes in many forms, from tuition fees, stationary assistance to transport money, we assist according to an individual’s need at that particular time. Apart from academic assistance- Oikos has tailor made programs that are designed to empower the youths with social skills.

Oikos Foundation also has interest in developing small businesses financially and otherwise. The Foundation also conducts business workshops at no cost to equip young (beginners) business owner. These workshops equip small business people to maximize every opportunity given and hence get good returns from their businesses. The projects are aimed at empowering people to think outside the box so that they can in turn develop the nation as they grow from small business to big businesses.
